Exhibit features African-American Muslims in film

The Black Film Center/Archive is featuring films that depict African-American Muslims in a film poster exhibit.

A new film poster exhibit at the Black Film Center/Archive highlights films that depict African-American Muslims.

“Black Muslims in Cinema” is a collection of film posters displayed in the study area outside of the Black Film Center/Archive, located in the lower level of the Herman B Wells Library. Featured films include Moonlight (2016), Timbuktu (2014) and Get on the Bus (1996).

The exhibit will run through the end of the fall semester.
