Altice Media France exec to meet with students as CEO in residence

Clément Delpirou, CEO of SFR Presse, Altice Media France’s newspaper content division, will meet with Media School students about internship and research opportunities next week.

Students have two opportunities to interact with Delpirou.

Delpirou plans to hire one undergraduate Media School student as a paid intern at Altice Media France in Paris this summer, and interested students should attend the event. Dress is professional. Bring a copy of your resume.

Research colloquium talk

Delpirou will give a talk, “New trends in digital publishing innovation,” in the weekly M600 research colloquium series.

Abstract

For the last couple of years, journalism’s civic mission has been challenged as coverage capabilities have declined with the accelerating decline of newsroom resources. Increased digital revenue has to replace the loss of print dollars. We’ll explore the different ways publishers innovate and build new initiatives in the digital space, on both advertising and subscription fields.
