My name is Mahima Aggarwal. I'm from New Delhi, India. I am a Journalism major at Indiana University and am also getting my specialisation and concentration in PR and Marketing respectively. “What’s your favorite thing about IU?”

To this date, when someone asks me what my favorite thing about IU is, my answer remains the same. Being an international student myself, I can say how grateful I was when I came on campus in a new country as a nervous freshman and saw the vast diversity on campus. McNutt in particular, home to the Kelley Living and Learning Center, houses a lot of international students. In comparison, however, the number of international resident assistant is relatively low.

A Day in the Life of an International RA

To this date, when someone asks me what my favorite thing about IU is, my answer remains the same. This, along with an array of other things, is what motivated Sreetha Reddy, a sophomore at IU, to apply to become an RA. The most friendly and helpful girl on her floor her freshman year, Sreetha’s decision to become an RA delighted everyone. “She’s the kind of girl who can make anyone feel comfortable and at home,” said Puranjay Katara, a friend of Sreetha’s, as he went on to describe her.
