Briana Higgins

Briana Higgins is a senior at Indiana University in Bloomington studying broadcast journalism. She is involved in the National Association for Black Journalists and Indiana University Student Television where she anchors and covers stories for both of their shows. She covers hard news stories for Hoosier News Source and entertainment news for their What’s Up Weekly show. Higgins previously worked as a schedule director at the Radio/TV building on campus, but recently started working at Target. She enjoys beauty, entertainment, celebrity news, social justice issues and sometimes fashion. After graduation she hopes to secure a job working for E! News as an entertainment news reporter or anchor on their main show.

Risana Malik decided to take a box of tubes filled with plant dye and use them to create tattoos that bring cultural awareness to students at Indiana University.
