Division 1 team. Back-to-back Big Ten champions. Student athletes. Star players. These are just a few words to describe Indiana University’s talented rugby club team.
Originally from South Bend, Indiana, Teddy Terezis participated in the Penn Rugby program before coming to Bloomington. After a lot of training in high school and transferring colleges from Bowling Green in Ohio, Terezis began his college rugby career as an incoming sophomore when he first came to IU. He dedicates his time outside of class to playing rugby despite his rigorous schedule in the School of Public and Environmental Affairs with a Public Financial Management degree. Terezis attends practices three times a week and spends his weekends with the team at their games. His positions as a rugby player have been all around the field as fly half, wing, fullback and center. Terezis is a very passionate and driven leader on the team.
