CSCI-A 348 Mastering the World Wide Web

P: Two semesters of programming experience, or equivalent, and some knowledge of operating systems. Project-oriented course leading to ability to maintain a fully functional Web site. Topics include Internet network protocols and Web programming, server administration, protocols, site design, and searching and indexing technologies.

MSCH-J 360 Journalism Specialties (Approved topic: The New Privacy)

(1-4 cr.)

Topical course dealing with changing subjects and material from term to term. May be repeated for credit with different topics in J360 and JOUR-J 360.

MSCH-V 334 Current Topics in Media (Approved topics)

(3 cr.)

Analysis of selected problems in media studies. Topics vary each semester. May be repeated with a different topic for a maximum of 6 credit hours in MSCH-V 334 and CMCL-C 334.

MSCH-V 401 Senior Seminar in Media (Approved topics)

(3 cr.)

P: Senior standing and consent of instructor. Study of problems and issues in rhetoric and communication. May be repeated with a different topic for a maximum of 6 credit hours in MSCH-V 401 and CMCL-C 401.
