M.A. in Media Arts and Sciences
A culture of perpetual discovery
Our research M.A. in Media provides the perfect entry into a Ph.D. program or into a career as an industry analyst or researcher. The M.A. shares two core courses with the Ph.D., offering an interdisciplinary foundation in media research and theory. From there, you’ll work with your advisory committee to customize your choice of courses in a way that suits your interests and needs.
As a researcher, you will have the opportunity to work with our internationally recognized faculty whose wide range of expertise will allow you to hone your research and critical thinking skills. Faculty are affiliated with one of four Media School units: Cinema and Media Studies, Communication Science, Journalism and Media Arts and Production.
